It's summer in the city
And the market is closed
But we'll be back in October
With Bean & Pepper Festivity!
The first Bean and Pepper Jamboree was held in 1946 at the Pompano State Farmers Market on Atlantic Boulevard. The Market was a major distribution hub for the country’s winter vegetables. Growers brought their fruit and vegetables there for shippers to purchase. The jamboree celebrated the end-of-season harvest and the entire community gathered at this much anticipated annual event for food, bingo and social time.
Be sure and join us on October 21 for the Opening of the Pompano Green Market's and our own Bean & Pepper Jamboree!

The Pompano Beach Green Market is presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society in partnership with the Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). We are committed to providing the community with the best and freshest fruits and vegetables, juices, baked goods, seafood and other food items, as well as orchids, plants, and health-related products and services. Visitors will also find hand-made crafts, art and culinary products at the Market.
Over the course of the Green Market season, a variety of special activities and events will be held, including antique car shows, nutritional workshop and holiday celebrations, among others. Plus, come to the Green Market and enjoy our live music performances.
The Pompano Beach Green Market actively seeks vendors who offer unique, high-quality items. Except in special circumstances, we do not accept vendors who resell manufactured items. For more details and vendor information click on the vendor link above, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
