This year the Pompano Historical Society and the Sample McDougald House will partner with the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center to present our 6th Progressive Dinner! The night starts on Wednesday, February 21st at 5:30 pm at the Sample McDougald House for music, drinks and appetizers. Leave your cars there and board the bus for next stop at the Historical Society for dinner and more. After dinner, we will head over to the Bailey Arts Center for desserts, coffee and maybe even some dancing....
Our theme this year is the early sixties. JFK ran for president, the Viet Nam War was still going on, four black students sat at a whites-only lunch counter in Greensboro, NC, leading to the Civil Rights Amendment and Eula Johnson organized the Ft. Lauderdale wade-ins to end segregation on the beach.
One last hop on the bus and back to Sample McDougald House to get your cars.
A night not to be missed!
