Growing Up Pompano and Saving History!

Join us on Wednesday, April 16th, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, for our monthly Speakers Program. This month, we feature Liz Massey, a lifelong Pompano resident, community activist and tireless volunteer.  Ms. Massey was born in Pompano and graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1973 -  'Go Tornados!'  - followed by Broward Community College and graduation from Florida Atlantic University. She worked for the Department of Children and Families for 35 years and was the Regional Program Director for the ACCESS Programs for the State of Florida. Ms. Massey will discuss growing up in Pompano and her efforts to save history as a board member of the Rock Road Preservation Society.
