Join us Wednesday, January 16 at the Pompano State Farmers Market, now called the Edward L Myrick State Farmers Market.

The market's 1,008 foot platform was said to  be the largest in the world when it was built in 1939. During the growing season, local farmers brought their local crops to sell to brokers, who then re-sold to retail outlets throughout the easter US.

WE WILL MEET AT THE MARKET AT 6:00 PM

We start at the Dimitri's Farmers Market Restaurant where we will begin a tour of the market with Ed Myrick. After the the tour we return to Dimitri's where he and his wife, Popi, will have some food for us to enjoy and time for some question and answers.
