It’s our 50^th! And we’re having a party!

In April the Pompano Beach Historical Society will be 50 years old!  Founded in April 1974, we’re celebrating five decades of preservation and achievement.

Join us on Wednesday, April 17^th, from 3 to 7:30 pm, to be part of the fun! We’re holding an Open House from 3 to 6 pm where there will be music, party food, games, door prizes and more, in addition to retrospective displays of Pompano’s history and that of the Historical Society, videos, and guided tours of the historic Kester Cottage museums.

Then at 6 pm, local, county and state dignitaries will be on hand to commemorate the anniversary. At 6:30 pm our keynote speaker, long-time Pompano resident and Historical Society member Tom Johnston, Esq., will take the stage to share his unique recollections and stories from our past.

All ages welcome at this community event.
