The Green Market

The Pompano Beach Green Market will begin its sixth season on Saturday, November 8, 2008. Located in the city's historic downtown, at Flagler Avenue and NE First Street, the Market will be open for business from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The Pompano Beach Green Market is presented by the Pompano Beach Historical Society and is committed to providing the best and freshest fruits and vegetables, juices, baked goods, seafood, gourmet teas and coffees and other food items, as well as orchids, plants and health-related products and services. Visitors will find art, books and historical images available at the Market, as well.

Opening day ceremonies will take place at 10:30 AM and will feature our traditional "pepper ribbon" cutting by local officials.

The Green Market will be held every Saturday through April 25, 2009. Future Green Market Saturdays will feature art shows, historical walking tours of Pompano Beach historic downtown, antique automobile shows, environmental exhibits and products, and other special themes. Live musical entertainment is presented every Saturday.
